On-Stage is a semi-annual event put on by Stampin'Up, It's held in locations all over the world. This past April our local On-Stage was in Charlotte, NC. My downline Kathi Case and I traveled to Charlotte on the day of the event. Unfortunately my other downline Robin Hill was unable to attend. :(
It is an amazing time for demonstrators to gather with old friends and make new friends, We laugh, learn about new products, reward those who have excelled in the business, are spoiled and given new products to try. We are given the new catalog, so we are the first to see it. You see boards of all the new products and get to touch, feel, and photograph every thing!! We see amazing ladies do demonstrations and we get to do make and takes.
Below you will see a few cards we got to make, SO much fun, and at the end of the event we take turns taking, yes SU gives them to us.....all the supplies we used in the make and takes!
Then as we all started to leave, we we're rewarded with another Prize Patrol (thats what they call the people and gifts you are given) A pack of the Designer Paper used in the last card, Mosaic Mood. And of course it has a matching Stamp Set. I'm not sure I would have purchased it, and it has turned out to be one of my favorites. You have to see the Designer Series Paper to know exactly how beautiful it is!!
Stamp Set, Punch, and DSP. Floral Essence Bundle, includes the punch. The DSP is Perennial Essence, this paper was hand painted by one of the SU designers. Reminds me of a Monet Painting.
Oh I just love this set of birds and DSP, Stamp Set is called Free as a Bird, and it comes in a bundle with the most beautiful nested stitched frame-lit dies. And isn't that lacy ribbon perfect with the card. The DSP that coordinates with it is called Bird Ballad and it just makes your card. I colored the birds with SU alcohol based Stampin' Blends.
This set is so fun for us Stampers it's called It Starts with Art and comes in a bundle with matching dies. I used the DSP, Follow Your Art and stamped the button background with Versa Mark Ink. I colored the spools of ribbon with the Stampin' Blends.
This card I made after we arrived home, I couldn't wait to use this paper! It's made using the Mosaic Moods DSP.
